Because everyone deserves flowers,
and every bouquet deserves an encore.
The Second Bloom Flower Project is a Santa Fe-based 501(c)(3).
We gather still-beautiful flowers that would otherwise be thrown away, lovingly refresh them, and deliver them to people who could use a little more beauty in their day.
How it works.
GATHER → REFRESH → SHARE.
We gather flowers donated after weddings and other celebrations, and by local florists and businesses. Then we give them a second bloom.

Volunteers lovingly refresh and re-arrange flowers into smaller bouquets and deliver them to residents in Santa Fe assisted living, memory care, hospice and other residential communities.

Volunteers bring lovingly refreshed stems, and all the tools needed, directly to a facility and guide residents through making their own small arrangements in a hands-on, social activity for those who’d enjoy it.
